Technical Note
SmartGen CMM366A modules connect to SmartGen controllers via RS485, RS232, LINK, or USB. Choose the module that matches your site connectivity: Ethernet for fixed installations, WiFi where wireless LAN is available, or 4G for remote sites.

System Capabilities
CMM366A Series — 35 mm DIN Rail Mount
- Online Monitoring: Real-time genset status, event history, and running records via cloud app or PC browser.
- SmartGen Compatibility: Communicates with SmartGen controllers via RS485, RS232, LINK, or USB.
- Auxiliary I/O: Two digital inputs and one relay output for room security, fire, or theft monitoring alongside genset data.
- Power Supply: DC 8–35 V from the genset starter battery. Compact ABS housing (73 × 105 × 35 mm) for control-panel mounting.
All CMM366A modules use JSON network protocols with data compression to minimise mobile data usage. Alarm conditions trigger immediate uploads to the cloud server. Parameters can be adjusted locally via the USB port, and front-panel LEDs show power and communication status at a glance.
SmartGen cloud monitoring requires an active internet connection at the installation site (Ethernet, WiFi, or 4G). Contact our team for controller compatibility checks and module selection advice.
