Solar & Inverter Backup Compatible

This generator model is equipped to produce stable, clean AC power (featuring an Automatic Voltage Regulator), making it highly suitable for integration with hybrid solar inverters (such as Sunsynk, Deye, or Victron) to charge batteries during extended outages.

Compatibility & Sizing Note: You must verify compatibility with your specific inverter's AC-input requirements. Furthermore, generator sizing cannot be 1:1 with your inverter. The generator must be sized to handle your property's maximum base load plus the inverter's maximum battery charge rate to prevent overloading.

IMPORTANT: This product must be installed by a qualified electrician. A Certificate of Compliance (COC) must be issued on completion.
NOTE: The generator cannot take full load instantaneously. Load should be added gradually (50% initially) once the engine is up to temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the price include installation?

No, the price doesn't include installation. Installations are all different and require varying length of cable, time and distances to be travelled. Installations need to be done by a qualified electrician to issue a valid Certificate of Compliance (COC).

Does the price include delivery?

All prices exclude delivery. Due to the nature of the goods and their size they have to be delivered by a specialised truck and rigging crew. Hence delivery is charged extra based on the distance and complexity.

Do I need anything else to connect the generator?

Yes, you'll need either an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) or Manual change over switch in order to link the generator into your property's distribution board safely.

Do I need to anchor the generator to the ground?

No, the generator is mounted on anti-vibration mountings so it is not necessary to anchor it, except for theft prevention purposes.

Can I make the generator quieter?

Silent generators are designed to minimise sound and optimise airflow. Any restriction of the airflow will lead to overheating. We strictly do not recommend after-market silencing solutions.
